I did, what did I spell wrong?

nice

cloakedranger said much of mine already. better work on the graphics, put the castles farther apart, instead of the castle just flashing and reappearing new with better armaments try doing it like a conquer style game. after you win the battle you get the chance to choose which kingdom you attack and also have to option to like train your men or improve them somehow. you know the classic "rest and recuperate before the next battle" type of thing. pretty much just like crimson warfare except more variety and done in olden day wars etc. musci of course would be nice lol. the audio portal on NG is a good place to look for music. just ask the one who made it for permission to use it in a game and usually jsut give them credit for it. If possilbe have an option to where you can use like the archer yourself or one of the foot soldiers etc to do battle with the other soldiers...kinda like in that one game where tha black kngith kills all these cub scouts lol. great thing to do and keep it coming.

Well

You've got a good idea here (although the "defend and attack" was partially done with Crimson Warfare). The "click on enemy to kill it" has been done to death though, and really destroys my wrist and finger after while... And unless you're clicking to shoot an actual weapon (like in All Hallows Eve, or Mario World: Overrun) I don't see the relevance in it. Also, your foot soldiers should do battle with the enemy foot soldiers if they pass by each other; only realistic. And the fact that one enemy arrow could wipe out a horde of my guys was annoying as well... But with all these problems, I think it has a lot of potential. I would really like to see you improve on this game.

Hard.

Very difficult in an impossible way. Try making the enemies a little less powerful and fewer.
And how about a PRICE on the OTHER castle's units?
Not fair. /me pouts...

Argh...I hate this when I make games...some people ALWAYS say its too easy, some ALWAYS say its too difficult :(...

Neat idea

It's a neat game, and kind of fun to play, but I do have two problems with it. I can forgive the music and the graphics, but the first one is not having a menu screen. It can get kind of annoying having to constantly reread the instructions.

Secondly, there's no flow to the way the baddies come. I'm guessing the odds of a baddie coming is completely random. You need to make less baddies come on the first castle and they have a steady increase for each additional castle. Mayhaps keep it random, but have it have low odds... (say a 90+ on a random 1-100) and have each castle add an extra ten to the random number generated... If the last sentance made no sense, disregard it...

But it's a fun game, and has a lot of promise.

magiciandude responds:

Well...they do come random but how I did that was I had a math.random function. If the number was lets say in between .23 and .24 an enemy came. I tried having them increase, but no matter what I tried it increased too fast! It started really annoying me so I got rid of that code.
