Not nearly as fun as it should have been.
Just the concept of Ninja Golf sounds like pure fun. Unfortunately, it gets repetitive before you've even finished the first hole. It's near impossible to avoid those little mice throwing what looks like mouse poo.
Unfortunately, all you really have here is a poorly made action sidescroller with a poorly made golf game.

This could be a pretty good game. The controls were very unresponsive, there weren't enough health pick-ups (mostly needed because of the unresponsive controls), sometimes I would get attacked by things I didn't even know were enemies (birds in the sky?), it took a couple of holes before it was clear that the arrow represents power and direction rather than just direction, you have no idea where your ball lands (does it bounce, or just land right where the arrow was?), hit recovery is awful (if you're facing two enemies and you get hit, you're pretty much dead), and when fighting the dragon there's no way to control which hand you throw the shuriken with. It was a fun idea, but very poorly executed.

Controls look totally fine on my computer, maybe it's time for you to get a new one! It's a remake of an old Atari game from 1989, so be expecting old gameplay mecanics =P
