the Ostrogoths, Visigoths and Crimean Goths from the 6th century (dark ages)

the 18th and 19th century goths (Edgar Poe, Bram Stoker, H.P Lovecraft even if he's more Cosmic horror he did gothic horror too)

70s/80s Bauhaus, The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees

AND your late 90s early 2000s goths
