Not the simplest by far
Pokemon Red and Blue were the simplest. They get exponentially more complicated with each generation. Have you ever looked into how complicated pokemon breeding is? Then there's natures. Catch a pokemon with a bad nature for their stats, and the pokemon will always be weak. Then there's all these stat points that aren't even mentioned anywhere in the game that have a big effect on them later. People only know about them by hacking into the game and stuff. It's stupidly complicated.
That said, this is a pretty good remix. Loops pretty well, and I can listen to it for a while. Not the most amazing pokemon remix I've ever heard (there are a lot of them) but it's pretty damn close to the top.

I wasn't talking about HeartGold and SoulSilver being the simplest; I mean Pokemon as a whole. Obviously Red and Blue are the simplest. >.>
As a Long-Time Fan of Pokemon...
I loved this. The beats were great, and the sounds were generic and at the same time not. The only issue I have with it (the reason why it was bumped down from a 10) is that the melody (at least in my opinion) is a little hard to hear.
But I loved it anyway.
