Why is it always the morons who write about things that don't even the movie? like sumgui for instance, he talking about not loving and harboring terrorists and blabbing on about some some other non-important shit, and by the way, THESE ARE JUST ANIMATIONS, NOT LIKE THESE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THESE ARE GONNA RUN OVER TO AFGHANISTAN, WASTE 5 YEARS, AND MAKE SURE THE ANIMATION COMES TRUE. Jeez man, dun take everythign so literally...

Grievances

As I usually say, I complement this film for not having an attempt at vengeance against bin Laden extend to the entire nation of Afghanistan, displaying a generally killing of all, including innocents, from a nuke or encouraging more racial tensions that are unfounded and have nothing to do with the tragedy. (An American was found fighting for the Taliban...should we kill all the Americans now? [This was sarcastic, mind you]) But beyond that, I was still disappointed with the fact that it was encouraging death, even multiple deaths made up into a game, as retribution for what happened on Sept. 11th against bin Laden. Now, your immediate reaction is probably this is a game, and has no real purpose. Still, it serves to amuse and satiate the passions of those impacted by the attacks and bitter by cultivating their bad feelings, encouraging and feeding their wants of vengeance and blood. While this film was far less graphic than most, it still had that theme and encouraged those feelings. I don't want to let bin Laden go free myself, but I don't want him to die either. I think that the human life, no matter how one has abused it, is a sacred thing, and that no one reserves the right to take it from someone else, be they terrorist, judge, victim, or anyone. I feel it would only make the world a worst place, first by encouraging people to act on their negative emotions, bitterness, anger, and vengeance, things that are all normally discouraged, and secondly because it will probably bring more terrorism and anger to the US, as fanatics seek to avenge not only bin Laden, but borderline individuals are pushed over the edge by the aggressive military response. Killing bin Laden will not bring back the people who's lives were lost, nor will it help those who have suffered their own personal losses live throughout the new emptiness any better.
