it was way too easy to go off the edge in a car...

Yeah... I seemed to have a bit of trouble making accurate collisions (or "hitTests" as some call them). If even the tip of your car touches the edge, I think you fall off... I've learned my lesson, though...

Well, I didn't want to make it too easy :P For example, in Stick RPG, you just stick your money in the bank, sleep for a few weeks, then you're rich... and then there's nothing to do...
