This entry here is living proof that you do not need flashy graphics and amasing sound with thousands of pixals at once to make a good game... though I'm pretty shure it would help.

One of those easy(but fun) games that grabs you and pulls you in. Easy to learn controlls and a simple goal make this a great game to play if you have some time to kill.

Without doubt the best game I have ever played on any site like this. The graphics were amazing, the sound made me drool. Those lo-fi effects were outstanding, and the periodic low atmospheric drone really made the ambience complete. The icing on the cake would be 'helper' powerups where you get a little automatic defender to fight with you, ala Gradius. Maybe there is later on, I didn't get very far!
Also, does anyone know why that little bastard charges coins for powerups? You're trying to save humanity and he's profiteering :P

Actually, the Bros are just trying to get home from work.. They deal with this every day. And the little capitalist, well, a micro orange pixel merchant has a right to make some cash on the side, no? (He works on the space station too)
