...Except for one thing.
Too. Many. Black. Fadeouts. The occasional one does not hurt, but not one after Every Scene.
It keeps the viewer detached, and not fully immersed.

The animation style kind of reminds me of Morino Aruzi, but dunno if you've seen any of their work.

Fun Watch
This is a fun watch. Kinda hard to follow.... the animation's a bit too frame-by-frame. It doesn't flow well. The music was really good though, good enough to make me check out Tatsh's work and try to find whatever album Sphere's on, although without much luck. I did think the style was pretty original, with some hints of Madness and manga and Metroid all on the same breath.
There is no real story. If you don't take it seriously, it's an entertaining watch. And frankly as long as it's enjoyable that's all that really matters.
Good but in need of work.
It's a nice idea and this would probably make a rather good flash series but there are some bad points I'd like to point out:
1. The movements were very limited, usually only by minimalistic movements such as (what I think is) a hell of a lot of motion tweening. It's used in anime and it could be justified in small doses but it severly limits what this flash could have been by the fact it's used horrendously often.
2. To me the characters look a bit stereotypical and bland. Two of the characters looked very Megamanish while the others I have seen scattered around a lot. The robots were also pretty much metal Raymen.
3. It was a bit short for a fight scene and it could've had a lot more action and a bit less randomness.
Not to say this is bad. It's one of better first flash movies I've seen (first on Newgrounds anyway) and it could be successful but it's lacking in some areas you could say.
