Motion tween
You are wrong. you CAN add filters to movieclips and you can motion tween movieclips and you can motion tween filters. I have done it many times.

read it again. i did not say that i said a motion tween wont work because it has to be a SHAPE tween. and you cant SHAPE tween buttonmc or text. dang i hate stupid poeple.
That is not the way to do it
The easiest way is to create a motion tween from 20 blur to 0 blur. that way it automatically figures out how much to blur the object each frame + it is less tedious

Okay glad someone said this. first you would have to shape not motion and plus you can olny add filters to a button MC or text. None of those you can shape tween.
