Now, THIS one IS a pirate.
It's a pirate-ous remix of the original theme. I have heard many of them. Tiesto's remix, BOUNC3 too, but about a dozen others, newgrounders or not.
This remi is really great. Unlike most of them, it doesn't use samples or intro from the actual song, but has everything made by.. you.
The tempo is epic (can't wait to try it on Audiosurf), but it's not too crazy. It's just right.
1 : 55 - 2 : 22 is simply amazing, like the "eye of a hurricane". I love how the heavy bass simply comes at the end like a nuclear bomb, like BAMMMMMM, announcing the change in the flow again.
I liked the dramatic low hum on the background around 1:07-1:15... those are the parts of songs I like the most. Change to the stereotype or style of the song.

I've heard various version of this song remixed... B0UNC3's, a couple others who's names I've forgotten. Yours takes the cake. But, I feel that I must say that it seems overloaded a lot. I love the mixing and instrument choice, but there are parts where it just seems that there is too much going on. 5/5, 9/10. Maybe make it longer and streatch out the goodness? :P Rock on dude.
