Sonic is still kickin', huh?...

It's great to see other people's interpretation of what they'd like to do with some of our beloved game mascots!! My 'puter is lagging badly, I think... I need to burn some stuff, but I just can't turn away from some of the good to great submissions that I've seen on Newgrounds today!! And if the 'puter isn't lagging, then you were right about turning down the resolution, or your frame rate needs help!! Either way, I still enjoyed this one tremendously!! could be better

the main battle, outtakes, and alternate endings were very good. It wasn't one sided. But the rpg battle with Shadow was glitched, so for anyone who wants to fight, don't bother wasting your magic on defense. Victory is assured. You should of made Shadow's attacks less powerful, or at least give Sonic the ability to turn into Super Sonic, like in your rpg series. And in the other mini game, shouldn't you be able to look up and/or down, considering the arrow keys are how you move. You can only moce left and right.

Flawed Excellence

Overall a great piece of work. Not without its bugs but otherwise a quality submission.

For me the music ran out early (but I was playing the video on high quality so that probably effected it). Not all of the fighting wasn't as fast-paced as I expected, however the midair scenes were well done and overall it was enjoyable.

The extra content is what really make this stand out though. The other endings are like condensed snippets which, after the good sized main presentation, are refreshingly short and sweet. The out-takes were also hilarious!

The RPG game was good and challenging but the glitch prevented any likelyhood of being KO'd which was a shame. But it's not a bad attempt at all - the graphics were high quality and the music wasn't annoying or too repetitive.

Nice work here ^^ Definately worthy of the Sonic Collection.
