Hmm..
Well...the transition at 0:58 is just wowzors :D The panning after than wasn't too good though IMO. 1:45 was amazing how you made the effect fade in so smoothly with that melo. Also, I think the kick is a bit too 'clicky' at 2:39. The melody after that was very good (I'm not sure on this but I think it's a different melo to the panning melo at the start), it should've gone for a bit longer.
Still, this deserves a 10/10 :)

Your work is some of the best of newgrounds, or perhaps THE best of newgrounds, I always love your rythm and beats combined, it blows my mind and everytime I switch songs, I get a new feeling besides excitement with your awesomness, keep up the good work man :D

Nate before I even think of talking about the remix, your description almost
made me fall out of my chair laughing. Now moving along, This is quite the remix on an ambient song that I personally thought had no potential whatsoever yet here it is making me eat my own words =).
A longer intro than usual, personally longer than my taste but it does fit very well with the rest of the song. The transitions are very smooth and ease you through rather than the profound transition like some of your other songs where it literally switches from the light to dark theme in almost an instant. A nice switch in my opinion.
These melodies that you incorporated with the original theme widened the variety greatly without them becoming too far fetched to where it doesn't fit with the original melody. A very good job on that.
As you mentioned the switch at 1:45, it is probably the most sudden transition in the entire song. It does work well and to me signalled the expected dark theme that you incorporate into almost all your songs (not a bad thing). Finally as for a suggestion, I bet what could be a nice challenge for you is to make a song without the dark theme yet keep to an extent the variety in melodies. I know your full of suprises and you did ask =).
P.S. I do use the dj-N for searching so please keep that! I look forward to buying your songs when the kinks are worked out and i restart working.
