Reviews for "Five Dollar Fight"

Awesome Effect!

Is there any chance you could give me some hints how to do this? I would love to teach this to my after school film club.

Xaroxantu-Zero responds:

Sure! I used the continuous drive function (or burst mode for consumer cameras) to do the shoot. Me and my actress had to move fairly slowly for the camera to capture most of our movements. The higher framerate your camera can capture, the smoother the result. As for the actual animating it's just a series of frames fading out one after another.

Hope this helps!

Great style

I love your style. It's pretty snazzy. It reminds me of one scene in "The Life Aquatic" where Steve is smoking. Keep this up and you will definitely be going places.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your stuff soon.

thanks you made me scream of 1 bill dollar you know this the tryincle with 1 eye thats him thats bill cipher

Okay.

The images and general flow of the movie could be smooted out a bit, but for stop motion it was the best have seen in a while.

As for Mr. 'this was a claymation' you are a dumbass. (not towards the maker of the film just to the last moron to review it.

Xaroxantu-Zero responds:

There are many factors that limit the smoothness of the animation. The camera actually locked up a few times whilst taking some of the shots. The capturing rate also slowed down once in a while, causing disruption of the animation. Another problem is that if I use too many frames, the filesize of this movie will be enormous. It's just one JPEG after another, so I really have to be careful.

Thanks for the input though!

more than stupid, it is very funny to see them fight with for a dollar bill!!!
