I didnt read your author's comment but if you were going for a full game you really needed some kidna of better objectives rather then getting a start and i stack of tires. if thats what that was. In a way the game needed to be more exciting needed shit to be flashing and some up to beat music. But ill give you some props on your coding that was done very well i think.
Brilliant game!!!
I played this right through and it's a really good game. You have to use your head a lot, as there's lots of physics involved, but it's a really great game. The last level's quite good; there's no stars in it, but there's about 40 odd barrels.
The sounds are quite good and the programmed momentum and friction is brilliant. Maybe a bit more to do if you make a sequal, but other than that it was brilliant.
My top scores are around 60,000rpm, 160m/s, 36 stars and I can't remember the rest. I tried getting them up lol, but there are no cookies to remember where I was. That's the only other suggestion ;)
Only one suggestion...
I loved it, it's probably one of my top 5 flash games I've ever played. It's addictive and simple. One thing I love is the responisveness of the controls and the inventive ways(but not impossible ways) to get a bonus. It makes the game real enjoyable. The look is simple but the way it looks during movement is kinda cool. The physics of it seem pretty good.
The only suggestion I have is with the sound. I think you should either have some sound effects or some low volume music in the background. The silence gets to me after a while. Especially when there is one pesky star left in the stage that I haven't figured out how to get to for some time.
I beat every stage including the bonus with all stars and barrels. It's as fun as a barrel of monkeys!

challenging, great physics engine, it just needs more. something to make it exciting. dunno, something to kill maybe? seriously though, it was really dissapointing how nothing happens when you beat the nightmare mode. there should be a bonus level, or something. i would suggest a pinball level. seems like it would work well.
