Reviews for "God & The Scientists"

haha

this was a very good little short animation..

Clever...

I enjoyed the submission. Like the previous reviewer, I myself am not a religous person. In fact, I'm an atheist. Unlike many people, I can take a joke. What I can't stand is when people are so blinded by their biases that they can't even stop for a moment to enjoy an entertaining work. I personally feel, that even if there was a god, it would be a physical impossiblity to actualy "prove or disprove" its existance. I believe that when people saw complex and currently unexplained phenomena they had to have a reason for its occurance. And hence, gods were born. Simple as that. And if you want to get into the "where did matter come from debate," let me ask you a question, where did god come from...

Nice

Really, really, just awesome. I love the drawing style especially.

BTW, why are there so many religious debate comments on this thing?

Chyea

Hells yea gods ultimate

Pretty Good

Heh, I'm not a very religious person myself, but I have to say that this story was very creative. I enjoyed it very much and I loved the punchline, it was great. I wish you would make more.

And I have to rebuke some of the comments that I have read in this review and I want people to take a look at the science and religion debate at a whole new level. Someone mentioned in this review that scientists have not proven nor disproven the existence of God. And that is true, it is something that scientists or any great thinker or logician will never do. But the fact remains that everything that is going on right now, computers, biology, evolution, all these subjects are helping us understand how the world works. Who cares if God exists, if evolution can describe the process in which bacteria become harder to fight, or if it can describe how related we are to chimpanzees, it is that much closer for us to find a cure or a treatment for AIDS or for cancer.

We have to all understand that science is a human creation to understand the world, just like religion is. The Bible was written by a human (possibly the words of God, but written by a human nontheless, I would say that it correctly could be described as a collection of stories), science books are written by human. People look to religion as a source of power, and guess what it has been proven that people who believe in a religion live longer than people who don't. To tell you the truth, I believe that you might be better off believing in a God. There is no need for us to fight over this subject just because someone writes a joke defaming scientists if we believe that it is not true. There is no effect. No one is going to become converted by just one story.

One more note: Receiving or denying a religion will not hurt anyone, religion is not a source of evil. People who use religion as a tool to get what they want are the sources of evil.
