I love the tambourine, marimba and harp. I think the tambourine and marimba sort of play minimal harmonic role but they add a lot of interesting color and rhythm/texture! And the harp with the minor arpeggios adds a great feeling too!

OH MY GOD
Looking at one of your responses... this is PERFECT for a flash game! I can picture it now! Or for an iPod game...? I hope a company scouts you...
Thank ye!
Very well done
The loop transition is well done, as most loops that I here have a slight loop delay. It may seem lacking, but in my opinion that's part of the atmosphere.
Also, did you use a weird time signature, or just switch between 4/4 and 3/4 every bar?
I thought of it as 7/4, but my old Yamaha AW2816 doesn't do 7/4 so I had to set the tempo grid up as alternating.
At arms men!
The first few seconds of the song i was a little confused on what type of song this was. Torn between Civil War anthems and Ninja battle music, i realised something. It could go to not only both atmospheres, but many other battles as well. There wasn't that many notes, but the ones that were there were placed very well. The only fault that i had with it was the base line that started 50 seconds in. A little overpowering and long for my taste.
Other then that, i'm looking forward to seeing this inside of a hit flash game!
9/10
