Reviews for "Megaman Zero:"

good game

This game was really well made, but normal and hard difficult were way TOO difficult, also if you could change the controls it would be perfect. If you have probles in the first part of level 5 and the robot dont let you pass you only have to jump near, he will walk to you and fall. In the same level there is a eastern egg, you can only see it if you are in easy(or the spikes will kill you) its a machine of upgrades.(no, it wont give you a power up, its only text)

PD: sorry if I have bad english

your hard work shows

the pixels were well done, you did a good job with the sound,
the levels were kinda short but still enjoyable. i found that the jump reaction was a bit slow though.but over all, really nice work.
people would definately appreciate if you made more.

I'd like to see more. This is a solid 95% game.

It was great, all the sprites matched up, and the speaking bits looked like the real game. Yeah, those X robots with the guns shot a little bit too fast. It needs to be decreased by 25-50% Otherwise, this was a solid flash recreating of MMZ. Emulator quality! w00t!

It's uncanny

The only times I've gotten to play MMZ1-4 (was it up to 4? i forget.) was on a friend's PC emulator, so i'm used to the controls. But what really amazed me was how it looked EXACTLY like the emulator and how it felt like it. it didn't feel at all like a flash game. The only drawback's i could think of are... though I'm used to keyboard MMZ... they're not exactly at the settings I use. IF it's possible, try putting in a customizeable control setting. Another thing would probably be the rate of fire of those rod droid thingies. They just attack too fast, compared to the original game. damage-wise , it's pretty good. As others may have already said, you could also add upgrades. the shot eraser would REEEEAALLY help. So, I hope this review helps. Keep up the good work.

I agree with zero finalstrike...

I do agree in part with him BUT what he said about the first MMZ games was not true. Yes, they were hard but FAR from this level and also the MMZ games hard as they might be but were hard for a completly differnt reason from this game MMZ games were hard because they had hard bosses and hard levels that you needed to think through. This on the other hand the levels were very simplistic and short and when he wanted to make a level harder all he did was stick spikes in it. The spikes in the MegaMan games were there to scare and surprise the palyer killing them a few times if they wernt paying attention (though there are a few exceptions to that like in X6 and a few others) and the idea for the Z-saber alone was great since I myself rarely used any of the other weapons and I think the you should make the Z-saber upgradable so you can have the bullet erase ability and the charge.
But, I digress the reason this game didnt get a perfect from me was because of the controls, yes I know MMZ wasnt made to be played with a keybored though that inpart was hard in my case you quickly get over it, No it was more the way Zero moved it wasnt good enough and the enemys attack WAY too fast... I know you were just trying to bring MMZ back to the difficulty it once was...but I think you over did it. Well i hope you found this to be informative thanks for the awsome MMZ and keep up the good work.
