Too much sidechain

the melody can barely be heard. The track is separated into 2 parts, the kick, and everything else. The clap was near lost in the mix, along with the a lot of the hat frequencies. Your bass is being gobbled by this large sidechain you got going. The general mastering is not great, but i expect you to fix all this since this is a small demo. overall, decent job, I would just stray away from this overwhelming (to the mix, not the ear) sidechain and general bass that's being gobbled.

Without the sidechain its alot worse. Thats all i have to say about that, as the song was meant to have heavy sidechain from the beginning

I love your EP submissions because you can tell how much effort you put into them. The mastering sounds so professional and your kicks are very clubby :D. Cant wait to hear the finished project.
