Dude, I hate the French and I hate rap. Nah, not really, I just dislike rap. The funny thing is if this was in English I highly doubt that I would have enjoyed it. The French language can be very musical itself and it just seemed very fluent in French.

I wouldn't mind seeing what the English lyrics are though. Perhaps you can add them in your author comments? Anyway, it's pretty good all around. I rather enjoyed it even though it's not the style that I usually like.

Did you rap in any of the parts or did you simply do the instrument part of the song?

French rap is nice

Yeah, I had french for 4 years in school, but I forgot almost everything... anyway, I know some other french rap songs and they all sound pretty nice. The language might be a bitch to learn, but at least it sounds good in hip hop. XD

I also like the background beat. It's simple but very effective. Especially the melodies stand out very much, and they just have that little something that makes you want to listen to the song again.

I'm a bit disappointed about the ending, though. It ends too abruptly so I was a bit surprised the song was already over there. Maybe you could add some more seconds to the end to finish this song in a better way.

Loki responds:

Yeah you'd need to understand the ending to enjoy it :P

It's just some random rambling pretty much and it's meant to surprise :)

I guess I'll translate it... :c

Nice...

I don't know any French, but the music rhythm is very cool, it's very nice, the voices are very syncronizated, it is a nice thing to listen...

It's kind of strange listening French rap, it have different voices, i think you did a nice job out here, I'm not a personal fan of hip hop, but it's way better compared to the other rap I listen in the radios...
It hasf a groovy beat, the singers have a nice voice, it fits really well w/ the back beat, i liked it...

Keep it up, make more nice music!!!

Catchy

I don't know any French, so I'll just assume the lyrics make sense. The rhythm of the vocals in general are pretty on-point and you manage to keep a really smooth tone and level throughout, which is a big plus.

The beat is nice and smooth, though if I was to critique something I'd say the levels of some parts of the accompaniment were perhaps a little too low; the percussion and the piano (I think?) could do with turning up just a little. But in general, the song develops well. Even though I have no idea what the words are the song is enough for it not to become boring as the accompaniment and the vocals develop enough so as to maintain enough variety.

At 3:00, while the brass slides are AWESOME, I think they overpower the voice a tiny bit. But in general, the brass is a highlight of the entire track; it adds a perfect amount of colour and again, you give it enough variety so that it keeps bringing a few unique sounds to the accompaniment.

The section from 4:15ish to 4:55 feels a little repetitive, but I'm sure that'd be slightly less so if I knew what the lyrics were and could focus on them. 4:55-5:00, the layers of vocals seem SLIGHTLY out of sync with one another, but that's the only point at which I could find a place where the beat isn't seemingly maintained perfectly.

So in general, it's a pretty awesome track. The instrument choices work well, the beat's nice and clear and the accompaniment is well-written, the vocals stay rhythmic and in time, and while I wish the ending perhaps wasn't so abrupt I think in general there's not much at all to fault about this. Nicely done.

Wow thanks for the review :]

Yeah, around the end the singing goes down a bit, apologizes for that >_<

I Sil Vous Plait.

That's the only bit of French I know. So, after saying that, theres not much I can critique on the lyrics. As I don't have the slightest Idea what it is you guys are saying.

As far as your rhythm with with the vocals, you've definitely got that, and there's nothing wrong with your tone, or mood of the vocals. They all work rather well.

Your beat in this song is really smooth. It flows well, and it transitions quite well. The kick has a really nice vibe to it, and it sets a good strong beat to the whole song. The snare is strong, and stands out rather well. It's got a good balance of treble, and suits the song rather well.

The bass is what impresses me a lot in this song, it's extremely deep, strong and powerful, but at the same time, it doesn't overpower the rest of the song. It's doing it's job damn near perfectly.

The brass sections are amazing. I've tried so often to make something sound good. However you guys just make it sound as easy as twiddling thumbs. The brass is an excellent addition, and accompanies the vocals really well.

Overall this is an excellent song. Thumbs up to you.

Yeah, I personally love the brass parts :P
