i was bored

i thought it awas oknot that bad

Intriguing, but not worth it

I can't say anything everyone else hasn't already said. nice concept, but the actual gameplay is cumbersome due to large amounts of crap cards, ridiculously high AI health, no real plot to speak of, and perhaps too many different variables that can occur when dealing with only six cards to counter them. Fun for about 2 minutes.

It's got potential, but...

First of all: I love this type of game! But this version was somewhat frustrating.

The frequency of getting crappy cards in your hand was way too high and the cards you and the computer player got are way too unbalanced. Also, there were some bugs when the computer player plays certain cards.

One of the bugs was when the computer plays the 'Discard 2 cards'-card: then the computer doesn't discard 2 cards, yet the turn goes directly back to the player who then has to play one turn with only five cards in his hand.

Lastly something that frustrated me most: when you lose a game in the career mode you have to go one belt down and do that match over. Come on! Just give us a retry...

Hope to see a version with the above bugs fixed sometime though; it's got great potential!

good idea, poor execution

i like strategy card games very much. and there is not so much of them out there, comparing with other genres. however this one is not great, it's still worth playing.
good concept, interesting setting, simple but nice art, very simple rules (in this case it's "in plus") and fast gameplay - this makes good flash game.
but there are "cons" also - too random card selection at start (lots of useless cards), few bugs, endless and useless "training", slow progress, some cards are little unbalanced...
i hope author will submit improved version soon - it has great potential...

oh, and two things more:
1. i like the music very much, but sound effects gets annoying after some time
2. i don't like VERY MUCH when there is no option to turn off music/sounds.

Needs some work

Very addictive, lots of potential, but some serious issues.

-bugs when enemies play certain cards
-too many useless cards, reduce the frequency of high level cards in low level tournaments
-hazumi was almost useless at lower levels, either reduce the points to benefits, or increase the gains by order of magnitude. After a point, this attribute was completely ignored in favor of anything else
-I made it to orange belt and never got any offense, defense, or healing bonus points, what was the point? (pun intended)
