There is no doubt that this was nearly mirroring the original Fishy game... but by far you did not steal it.
I love all of the personal touches you added, like the hook. Gracious, I LOVED the x2 buttons... the fish had a CAPE. <3
You might be amused if you check the profiles of the people who said this is blatently stolen. You might get a kick.

it was a neat re-make of FISHY. i've played the original and other re-makes of it before, so i found thi one to be pretty easy... but i really did like the 'ridiculous' setting... that offered a damn good challenge, and that kind of challenge was good for this game too.

I love this game, I thought the added customization was really cool.
The graphics were a little on the ugly side, but I still had fun.

Few small things...
The graphics were good, but you might make size differences clearer. The style is very good.
The interactivity is somewhat strained. My fish would keep hitting things before it touched them, and so I kept dieing. Make the impact bubbles around objects smaller. Also, get rid of the fish hook after the players fish hits a certain size, because after the player takes up the whole screenany fish hook apearances will kill the player.
I like this game a lot. Very addictive; I spent the last hour playing it.
