because practically every single pill or chemical sold in the market 50years ago, 40 yrs, 30...to today have been tested on animals to make sure they are safe for humans. if you want to protest pharmacuetical companies you should stop taking any medication to treat cancer, aids, the flu, TB, small pox, strep throat, chickenpox, herpes, gonerrea and let's not forget vaccines. vaccines for mumps, encphilitus, smallpox...no vaccines fo you. cuz they make vaccine FROM animals, usually chicken eggs, killing the half-formed embryos before extracting the vaccine. XD
