Actually a step down from the original
While the game is just as enjoyable as the original in terms of gameplay, the sound is absolutely HORRIBLE! The gunfire is one of the most annoying sounds that I've heard in a long while, and that alone detracts a great deal from the quality of an otherwise awesome game. If you fixed that, than this would be an easy 9 or 10. As it is now though, I don't even want to play it anymore, the sound's so annoying.

I started to play and got really pissed off thinking how the #$#@# could someone so obviously steal a golden oldie liek this and call it their own!!!?!?! I clicked on "This game is stolen." typed up a nasty message to tell you that "some cock sucker" is calling your game your own. Then as I'm about to submit I realize that the cocksucker I'm telling Tom about IS Tom :-D That was close! Anyway, I love the improved quality! and sorry for almost blowing you;-)
Too easy?
Good job on making the remake, but I can't help but think you've gone to the other extreme in terms of difficulty - from mind-numbingly hard to paractically effortless. Something in-between the two would have been more appropriate. In terms of health, sufficiant was given in the original, you just needed a little more ammo to make it more bearable (pun intended). A difficulty setting might help, and if not, a link to the older version.
