Needs work
This iteration of the original is better than some, but has considerable room for improvement. The animation is the largest area where I can see potential; you know how to draw and animate, but it needs refinement and a static level of quality, as opposed to the sometimes-varying style used here. Reguardless, it captures the feel well, and leaves the viewer waiting for more. Here's to the next part.

This movie was amazing, and I loved the change of focus effect you used. So please, make a sequel to this, I really want to see how you would animate Pico's final battle with the head goth kid.
