i see what u see
i can see what people like about this. it entertaining in a meandering sorta way. not overly thrilled. some of the jokes were a bit bland and uninteresting. nicly animated, nicely drawn, nice sound, just a bit, plain for me.
still a nice job though and you should be proud. im just a whiney biatch

I loved it with the whole Waterman scenes and the dates, awesome... I want to see more! And no goodbye sex... what a biatch! lol, k sorry... great job!
Funny
I have no idea who waterman is but he was funny. all of it was funny to me keep'em coming I like this stuff.
i see potential
before i tell you whats wrong with this, let me say that you seem to be prety talented with flash, the charecters are prety detailed, and the animation is smooth

lots of adult content. i wouldn't complain if it was oh...FUNNY but it seems you just put it on there so you could say "fuck".
slow paced. some of the jokes were PAINFULLY long. jokes that were only mildly funny got stretched on and on
moocher. You basicly put waterman there as a guest star, to draw in fans of his series. i know its an often used ploy, but people are gonna see through it.
now, im not just here to complain, i have some ideas if you want to hear them. you may want to bring down the quality of the flash so you can make it more frequently. this was done by Matt Wilson and his series, high score, which came out once every 6 months. he made a lower quality version called bonus stage (an amazingly popular series) which came out once a week. these started out alot shorter as well. waterman made an apearance there as well. Also, another good techniqe used by flash cartoons is to make obscure (or nto so obscure) refrences to video games, music, or anything else popular. also, the charecters are very...normal. most of the time in flash cartoons, the charecter have some wacky gimick to make them apealing. Waterman (the charecter, not the Brain Waterman) is a loser and also a bit crazy. of course you will still need one or two normal charecters to show the shear insanity of the other ones. in waterman its the ice-cream girl (and sometimes pal) , in homestarrunner its Strong sad (Marzipan too) and in bonus stage it's Andrew, brad, and June (in the earlier episodes phil, then elly)
sorry for the long post but i think this has ALOT of potentail and could be a very funny and well writen cartoon

well thanx for the comments but let me give ya some insight.. the waterman appearance was to put to bed this long time running review that i was ripping him off. I figured if he guest starred it would be an ironically funny satire in itself. as for the other characters i dont want them to be these cookie cutter stereo types..yes that helps people recognize each character having a certain quirk but to just plan give them a stereotype is very overly done..and generic. the purpose of this entire thing is to provide something for the fans not just to ill use the term "sell out" and make this into every other cartoon out there. the quality issue is for the fact of i like creating high quality flash and pushin my skills to the limit each time that is why with every episode of Icons its improved 100 fold or at least put forth the effort to expand and try to be better. in animation, writing. art. all the above. would i like to to release one say every week..sure but not if it costs me what makes this flash special in my eyes in the first place.
