Thanks, I mostly draw characters on plain white backgrounds. being in ink, I don't wanna chance a mistake while doing a background.

I get your point, but I generally just draw characters first, then draw a completely different image with said characters in said background. However doing it all in pencil, then crosshatching with ruler like efficiencey, and then going over with markers takes a long ass time, time that I don't have whilst in school, meeting my required student artwork, working, and gaming. Thanks for the 10!

It feels like "Applessed" mixed with Final Fantasy cuteness.
Just one thing.
I really love your style, in fact I place it in my top 10 for sure.
My only issue is her rifle. Assuming she's a soldier, her rifle is her most important asset, her best friend, her life. Without it, she is nothing. With this in mind, the way she's holding her rifle, becomes strange; like a toy and not her best friend. (The apparent lack of weight to the rifle doesn't help).
I do see though, that she seems to be pointing something out to the Mech, so a simple fix ( to keep this pose) would be a shoulder strap with no slack on the rifle to her shoulder.

Like i said though, overall I like this piece of work. So much, if I had reason right now, I'd commission you. =)

This is probably your best picture! I think it's mostly because you have color in it. I only wish that it was more detailed. It's still a wonderful picture. I love the little bits of orange sticking out. That's probably because orange is my favorite color.
The girl looks quite good too. She almost seems to have metallic legs. I think it's just a really hard gray shade she's wearing. She just seems so casual about everything. It's great that you have personality in your picture.
