Are you crazy!?

Your saying making marijauna should be legal and it will benefit America? The people it will benefit is the goverment, making marijauna legal will increase the use of the drug and will be alot more high drivers on the street. If alot of people believe this, and marijauna becomes legal, you'll probably be responsible for many deaths.

luminousnerd responds:

It will benefit the government: It will save money, help the economy because legal businesses will begin to sell Cannabis, also they won't have that unenforcable law which makes the government appear weaker.

And you are wrong, legalizing it would NOT increase use, according to many studies and examples from history. During prohibition, Alcohol use went UP and came WAY down afterwords. So your argument is flawed many times over. You fail. Goodbye.

Cannabis does not cause paranoid schizophrenia

While the cause of paranoid schizophrenia is still under debate, most scientist believe the mental disease is genetic. It's common knowlege among real doctors that schizophrenia runs in the family. People who have close relatives with PS are more likly to develop the disorder . An identical twin of a person with schizophrenia is 40-50% more likley to develop the illness.

Now at the same time, cannabis can cause similar symptoms to schizophrenia while "high" but they reside after the drug loses its effect. So if you're a doctor I'd concider leaving your line of field and stick to newgrounds because if I know this, you certainly should.

There are NO documented cases of marijuana killing someone from over dose. I'm sure marijuana isn't completly harmless, I'll give you that, but I can show you statistics that alcohol or even cigarettes have been the cause of more deaths than our sweet Mary Jane.

light up :)

luminousnerd responds:

Thanks, I'm glad you did some research before posting! I appreciate your review!

Obviously you're misinformed...

I have worked with people with schizophrenia as a result of drug abuse. One client had paranoid schizophrenia from the abuse of cannabis. Don't get me wrong, I have tried and enjoyed it but after seeing what it can actually do changed my opinion forever.
Cannabis is not harmless. It lowers the inhabitions and causes mental illness. If the drug were to be legalised, mental illness would increase, there would probably be more issues such as road accidents and such.
I appreciate your efforts but working closely with the victims of the long term side effects has proved you wrong.

luminousnerd responds:

Perhaps as a result of drug abuse, they may have schizophrenia. However I do not consider cannabis a drug. It is a plant, unaltered. Drugs contain chemicals, of which Cannabis has none. It is impossible for it to do permanent damage beyond the effects it has on the throat. That's fact, I'm sorry if you've been lied to otherwise. If cannabis were legalized, CANNABIS WOULD STAY THE SAME! The people who use it would continue to do so, and very few new people would try it! By the next generation it would decrease! This is a scientific study that has been conducted, not just a fact out of my ass.

And the zeros are just plain lies. Why would you do that?

Ahaha..no

You are a ignorant. Isn't the slogan of your country? Never big, strong, fast enough? Same goes for drugs, start with marijuana and you might end up with crack, or whatever. If your addiction isn't improved or new, you are a failure; that's how kids think. That is why it's still prohibited. Stop encouraging the degeneration and keep your stupid reasoning for yourself. The solution isn't in the law but in the way we see our world, change that and you could change everything.

luminousnerd responds:

That's not true, I am VERY against crack and most of the other illegal substances, I will never turn to another drug. That is a myth, that Marijuana is a "gateway drug", that's a lie spread by the government and people who believe them. Regardless, as long as there are people like ME, who WILL smoke it regardless of the law, it NEEDS to be legalized because it is a law that CAN NOT BE ENFORCED, which makes the government that much weaker. It would be to their advantage to legalize it, whether you are against smoking it or not.

wow...

go smoke some of your beloved dope ya colombian hippy. i gave you a 10in humor because it was so funny to hear you say such stupid stuff. you should send this to your local police station with your name adress and phone #. now that would be funny. as for the flash aspect it was just some words scrolling across the screen. its always good to express your opinion, but that was jsut hilariously uninteligent! you can die by overdosing on anything! especially a adictive, narcodic, mood altering drug that effects ur hormones, brain cells, and a whole bunch of other junk. as for the prohibition, it was impossible to keep people drinkinng the moment it was first invented. now go smoke some of dat' good stuff and bask in the glory of being a inadequate member of society. o and have a good day aswell!

luminousnerd responds:

It's not illegal to exercise(sp?) my right to free speech. Your definition of "stupid" is inaccurate, since the word implies lack of knowledge, while indeed I have done an obvious amount of research while you have done none. If I were to send this to the police station, I would not be arrested, seeing as it is not illegal. If they were to catch me smoking or buying, then yes, I'd be fined and (as I am underage) probably let off with a warning. However, once I hit 18 that punishment would become 6 months in jail for Utah. That's why I'm doing this: to alert the public of the facts and get weed legalized. The only unintelligent one here is you, because you have done no research, the facts I have put up are non-debatable, because they are just that: facts. The only opinion is that it should be legalized. You can NOT die from overdose on marijuana, as it is in FACT a non-toxic substance. Nor is it addictive, but that's a hard one to argue since the only people who know are the ones who do it. So, you don't know what you're talking about, please make sure you do before your next review.
