An alltogether unimpressive submission. It's decent, but front-page material? No way.
Graphics (5): Laaaame. I can't believe how you tried to pass off those disgusting, low-quality, bland still photos as legitimate backgrounds. How ugly. Also, the character animations need a lotta work; very simple, and very fake.
Style (6): I've only seen this idea implemented in flash like...a 1000 times? There wasn't *anything* that seperated this from all the other Max Payne clones on NG.
Sound (4): Obnoxious looping 80s guitar riff + awful sound effects = terrible sound. 'Nuff said.
Violence (6): Really outdated...and those bullets look like lasers.
Interactivity (5): Took a little while to become acclimate myself to the controls. I found *no* purpose for the diving-while-shooting buttons, other than to lose health and look silly.
Humor (0): Not appliciable.
Overall (6): Ugh, what's up with so-so submissions making the front page? I'm sorry, but this really isn't anything amazing. Next time, try harder.
