What is a matter with people today?
You must be just another one of those people who seem to blame smoking for everything.
Second hand smoke, as experienced in indoor public places, is not harmful to your health.
Smoking may have certain side effects, but the risks are no where near the levels that the anti-smoking Nicotine Nazis claim them to be. Such claims are found through junk science that's often funded by Big Pharmaceutical. Why would they do so? Imagine the potential market if every single smoker started buying their "nicotine cessation" devices and got their nicotine through those products. So, they are trying to foster an environment where smokers are hated and despised for no other reason.
What they don't tell you: A very large number of the oldest people that ever lived were/are smokers. Zyban, a popular anti-smoking drug, increases depression which causes adverse effects in some people, including one 18 y/o who turned suicidal. And that's not even the tip of the iceberg.
I'm not funded by Big Tobacco. In fact, I despise Big Tobacco because they sold out on us with the Master Settlement Agreement of 1998. Now states receive money from Philip-Morris and R.J. Reynolds. Supposedly, the money was supposed to fund health programs, since smoking is "unhealthy." However, only a very small portion of that money is actually used for such purposes. Where does the rest of the money go, hmm? I know, it's used to make people rich, and to fund services for everyone that only a select group pay for. As a result, cigarette prices go up. Plus the mad taxation, since apparently it's open season on smokers. Personally, I smoke a pipe, and as far as I know Big Tobacco doesn't produce pipe tobacco. I cannot be bothered to fund a plot that's against my kind. That's like the black man funding the KKK, or a Jew funding a Nazi organization. The only difference is that in this case, not as many smokers realize this. But the great thing is that awareness is growing. It's not a question of if, but when the truth will come out.
I wish I could provide a link. Unfortunately, Newgrounds policy forbids me from putting one here, or even mentioning where I got the information from (since that's "promotion of an unrelated website"). All I can say is that I didn't make this up.
Now about the actual series:
The educational thing got a little out of hand, but it was OK, until you got on to this anti-smoking tangent. I try to be fair in my voting, but some things really just tick me off, and anti-smoking messages are one of them.
But despite my low vote, there are some good things I can say:
The graphics were pretty good. Not realistic, but it's a cartoon.
Style: Less education, more plot. If people want to learn, they go to school or research on their own.
Sound: It was good, and there were no problems hearing it.
Violence: It wasn't very violent, but that isn't your focus.
Interactivity: It's not a game, so why should it be interactive?
Humor: Unfortunately, it's not possible to be objective on this. I hated it.
Overall: I hated it.
