It's very good game
The game is great. Animations and graphics are simple. There is a fabule, it's good thing. There could be more attacks and powers, I fastly had MAX level of all attacks and defends. Game is short, but it isn't bad. You can play "Book of Mages" few times, improving your score, rank and popularity. The clans are diversity, each have own special powers, max levels are also varied.
Good time killer
Of course this game being what it is the battles stuck out the most. I found that strategy was definatly needed in some places, while some times you could fall back on patterns. I really enjoyed this game and that if you lost a battle you didnt lose the game. It is a nice solid game. I would definatly consider making a Book of Mages 2 or something simmilar. And to a previous reviewer, you need to defend because sometimes you get the chaos fire people attacking you twice with the same attack and you cant block twice with the same attack:P
it's not a bug but..
I'im a poison water mage, I've got all to the max..but I can't get past the ice water magic master. I can't kill hurt him 'cause he's got higher defence than my attack..and If I try to get his mana out, he freezes and killes me..
