Love the idea
The graphics need some work but this was very cute and I love the idea of your flash. The syle and sound helped up my overall score. If you flush this out and add some background and additional scenes my score would definitely rise.

Well, I didn't rate your flash low because it was sappy; primarily, I rated low because it's way too short. At first I mistook this for an intro or trailer to another flash. It looks like the start of a series, or the opening credits for a much longer piece. It didn't really have any narrative plotline, so I was left asking, "was that it?".
The graphics cound probably use a bit of sprucing up, too. More detailed backgrounds, drawing your characters from several different angles, and more tweening might be helpful. Also, though the sound was passable, it seemed rather faint and fuzzy.
On the whole, this flash is okay, but I wouldn't protect it without some improvements. I know that flash is really hard to learn, so please keep trying.
