Lemmings Nostalgia

wow.

this game was fantastic. It totally made me want to go out and immeadiatly start playing lemmings (the best game ever) again.

Really really good job, i hope to see more fantastic submissions in the future.

BoMToons responds:

Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it...and that it made you nostalgic for lemmings.

cool

as past reviewers said there are some bugs, but saying that i really enjyed it, the simplistic style but puzziling gameplay, nice job dude!!!

BoMToons responds:

:)

Too many bugs...

If you stop a troop the other 2 just died and why can't you pan with the arrows making gameplay so much easier than just clicking and dragging?

BoMToons responds:

Not sure what happened with your 2 troops dying. I was experimenting a bit with the drag and pan gameplay...seems to not be too popular though...thanks for taking a look at least.

Deeply Flawed

I can't help but think the people who rated this highly didn't bother playing for very long. I generally enjoy games like this and the concept is sound, but it seems to fail in the exection.

The so-called "instructions" aren't instructive at all. Why do I have to re-buy skills every time I want to use them? Why do my peasants keep digging themselves to hell? Why don't they wait for the builder in front to finish before marching off the edge of his platform? What's the point of the "stop" skill if there's no "walk"?

I can't imagine what possessed you to make the troops walk automatically. All sorts of problems could be fixed by letting you click on a troop and drag a line to where you want him to go. You could have him walk a set distance, dig a set depth, build to a set height and then stop, waiting for the next command.

If you make another game like this, I hoep you'll ditch the Lemmings angle. It's not much fun trying to juggle three brainless peasants who will gladly march into oblivion.

BoMToons responds:

Thanks for playing. The "demote to peasant" tool is useful for reverting peasants back to walking status and stopping them from digging. I may take your advice about not making them walk automatically for the sequel.

Like every one else says, Glitchy

I found this REALLY unplayable. Don't get me wrong cool concept but it needs thinking out a bit more. I didn't know how to stop the diggers, probably simple but i probably overlooked it. Nice idea though man

BoMToons responds:

Thanks for checking it out. Use the "demote to peasant" tool to stop the diggers.
