All things considered...

...not bad. Certainly there are things to be improved, and all the other reviewers that I read have pretty much gotten the low points.

So, let's get some high points in there.

The world map part was nicely done. Also, there was the scene when the two hand-drawn characters arrive in front of the building and one stops, puts his hands on his knees, and pants. That alone convinced me you had some serious potential.

So keep 'em coming and learn from your mistakes is all I can say. This is no Turd of the Week. *thumbs up*

its sad really

this had so much potential

jus keep practicing with flash and remake this and im sure it can be better.

some parts were abrupt, the overall flash was too short and there were places where it could use some touching up, but if you jus spend more time on it and further develop the plot, characters, plot device, then im sure you can make this better

Well, really the only thing good about this is that it has a decent storyline and has potential to become a half decent series, given that you improve a lot upon certain things.

First off, never mix sprites with regular drawings, it just doesn't look very good. This movie also ended quite abruptly and some parts of the movie moved too quickly. Also, the beginning should have something to do with the rest of the movie.

Not bad...but just barely passable

There's good and bad in this piece.

There's a story here, which is good,. Maybe a little cliched -- especially with the figure asking for power and being turned into or trapped into the orb -- but there is at least a sense that this was not random junk thrown together. While the actual graphics for people are, they at least move nicely. The sound quality is pretty good too.

But the bad areas are far more critical -- presentation and style. There were some parts where I thought the presentation was pretty good. I like the part with the overworld map. Still, it can't overcome the problem of using ill-fitting backgrounds for simplistic characters. Inconsistent fonts and other errors really bring down this piece.

Old people rap deserved turd of the week, this doesnt... Its not that bad, plots a bit confusing, graphics not too bad plus like the person before me said, good flashes take time, hell i cant even get a friggen ball to bounce up and down while someone is saying something else so this is pretty good.
