Pretty good

You game was so so. A few things need to be addressed though.
One is that there should be a mini map of the area, I got lost trying to find my way around there.
Two is that there needs to be a varity of music so its not the same peaceful stuff over and over again.
Three, humans have knee caps ^_^.
Four is put in at least two more animations for the hero when he is moving up and down the map.
And lastly, make the village bigger with people to interact with, put a few mini quest in, and even allow him to actualy go into the buildings.
I'm not gonna say I know how hard it is to make a flash game cause I don't. All I'm trying to do is help you make a great game out what you have now. Anyway best of luck finishing your game.

but it would be better if there was away to regain health while not in combat without having to use something

well shit, man...what was i supposed to do
obviously the game was slow... but it was still fun
i just...wish there was a story? or is it included in the instructions
if it is, it shouldn't be...

put a high speed excelerator button in.
I would have liked to try the whole maze offered ,but after the village, a fight with one goblin (who reminded me of Kermit the frog) a trip up to a treasure chest and I found I had celebrated another 4 birthdays.
By the time I got all the way through I will be 40.
Too slow.
Good drawing, oh did I mention it was TOO slow!
