It was a little confusing at first. The subtitles help a lot. Good idea on your part. Then everything started making sense....kinda. But still funny. :)
Maybe I should go back into economics so I can figure out what in the world they are talking about.

seriously, the randomness and incredible animation/voice acting is what makes these toons so awesome! that whole economist soap opera sketch was SO DAMN FUNNY. you guys rock, and i hope you continue to make misunderstood and hilarious toons.
Pretty Funny, Slightly Hackish
I may not have laughed out loud, but i did find it amusing, and didn't stop watching it half-way through. Rapid randomness kind of throws me off, i like to stick with a funniness for a little bit every once in a while. And you did, once, but you chose kind of a bad thing to do it with. I dunno about having that economist thing on for so long. The punchline thing was pretty funny. I dunno, it just didnt strike me as anything unique and entirely original. I'm not saying you necessarily jacked anything directly, just the line of humour has been well walked.
