Reviews for "Defend your Random Turret"

It's a bit repetitive, it's a bit repetitive, i...

Well, I guess it was an okay game, just the concept was a little overused by other games. The gun was okay, but maybe having other buyable guns would have made it a little more interesting. The wave length was long...too long. However, nice graphics they were the upside.

Anyway, i'll just call it average...

Good game

Got to retry and replan my strategy as to what to do as to go the distance in the game. I didn't realise how fast the beam power is exhausted. Had a lot of fun, good job.

hmmmmmmmmmm

It wasnt that bad the music was good butt you should
consider upgrades or somthig to give the
gamer more motive

A fine example...

of how not to do a defense game. This was *so* bad, I got an account on Newgrounds just to rate it.
One: You need a variety of enemies. Not just the same enemies used time after time, with bonuses to their speed and health.
Two: Wave length was *way* too long. You don't want your players wondering 'dear god, when will it end?' halfway through a combat wave.
Three: Too few upgrade options for the turret, and most of them useless. Why would anyone buy health, for instance?
Four: Way, way too easy. I got through 7 levels before quitting in boredom.
If you want an example of how to make a *good* shooter, look up All Hallow's Eve. That has a variety of enemies and weapons, and the various upgrades you can buy actually appear on the screen.

Ugh... not ANOTHER one!

C'mon, this has been done a million times! Turret games/ Defend your *blank* games get boring after the thousandth time! Think of something original.
