I have an optical mouse. It works AWESOME, even for image software. But EEEEVERY now and then, it just decides to go ape shit.
Course, I've never lost a file to it. :) Anyone who's put more than 3 hours into a digital image or done any real programming or Flash work knows to save every minute or two.
