Very well made, although the player icons are a bit wonky.

I agree - by the time I got around to those it was like 4am though. I'm sure if I tackled it again on a full stomach and a good night's sleep, it'd look better. x__x
Thanks!!
Seeing as how i have the game i could tell this isnt actual game play however it wouldn't be to much of a stretch if you were wanting to mess with people and say its COMING SOON!!! lol better in some parts not so much on others but over all great as always.
Haha I was considering it, but I thought it'd be too mean. P:
Thanks for the kind words!
Did you make the low-res thing on purpose so it could look like an actual screenshot? Cause if so, clever move.
lol maybe
Hmm. Not much of an art critic, but this is pretty good. The scenery is descriptive and slightly fading in the background and foreground, reminiscent of the Paladin himself. That boss and the enemies totally look like something that would be in Castle Crashers. The shadows and detailing match up believably.
My one complaint is that the Crashers themselves look... off. I can't really describe it, but they seem slightly less rounded and organic than they should. And that magic is just... boring. The lightning follows an almost perfect pattern of zigzags, and it could do with one more bolt behind the two you have.
But ultimately enough, this was very well done and totally looks like an actual level of Castle Crashers.
Also, Butt Orb. Huehuehuehuehuehuehuehuehue.

Thanks for the critical eye! I didn't really like how the castle crashers turned out, myself. I didn't know how much time I'd have to work on this image, so I definitely rushed it, but I agree with your observations!
It's Assegor (from the tv funhouse Pokemon satire)! Here, watch this:

Yes, one of the advantages of living a long time and having a memory that never degrades is that I remember almost everything flawlessly and so I can often put the arcane pieces together where others would not. The downside is that every moment, I relive a lifetime of horror simultaneously. Oh joy!
