Yep, it looks as if thats exactly whats going to happen. On the other hand if the world IS going to end soon with war and such, why is everyone concerned about Global warming? Just sound silly to me! XD

this piece of art was simply amazing. Although the graphics are not exactly the best, and it would be better if you included more sound effects *ie bombs dropping down, gun shots...etc* but I believe you may have misinterpreted the apocalypse.
Please excuse the fact that I do not exactly know what is/are the "Maya", but I guess it's some type of person/community that foretells the end of the world. Even if the end is coming, I believe what would be causing the most destruction would very likely be a destructive natural disaster, where humans cannot do anything. In addition, even if there were war, the most deadly weapons would not be fighter jets or war tanks, rather, nuclear warfare.
Nuclear warfare has a much more scarier impact, in comparison to the bombardment of the tanks and planes. That is also why many people believes the Third World War (if there will be one) is the end of the world. Not due to the tanks or jets, but because nuclear warfare has too much of an impact.
I loved your flash, I gave a 8 in overall, but I'm rating 5! Good job!
