I have been fumbling around for 2 or 3 days in search of something to teach me the basics of Adobe Flash and Actionscript. I love the newb and the conceptual sections! In addition to that, the tutorial has humor, and the examples are interesting and practical. Even the advanced section is always comprehensible (except for the "listeners" section).

I highly recommend this tutorial to anyone.
[NOTE: You should update your tutorial for CS3, if you can do so. For example, ActionScript 3.0 disallows you from assigning actionscript to objects, and this caused me a lot of grief until I figured out that I had to enable ActionScript 2.0 while using the tutorial.]

This is an extremely easy to learn tutorial. I've been trying for over a month to figure out how to make a movie clip move. And it took me 10 minutes with this. Thanks a lot!
