i don`t understand
i cannot seem to find a free flash 8 download and i`m not paying just to do this stuff.i cannot find a free full version of a sprite movie maker either.sorry.

Finally I know how to make a Sprite animation.I've been experimenting with sprite sheets and Flash but didn't know I had to use Fireworks to make it good.
Bet you spent some time doing this.However I had one problem with this.
Whenever I didn't understand anything,there wasn't a "Back" button.I had to replay the tutorial,then I could understand.
Try to make a "Back" button on your next tutorial.Thanks for your help!

And this tut worked perfectly - I have made a basic animation where mario runs along, then stands still and is hit on the head by a big block. I am hoping to create better ones later.
This tutorial is great for beginners like me!
