Flowing in ambient songs is very important so I payed a lot of detail to that, while still trying to maintainoriginal melodies.

this is smooth, my personal preference of ambience is normally more musically and melodically more inclined, but i think you imply a nice simplicistic melodic structure in this. :D this has enough depth for me to establish good power and to effect my mind. it is deep and powerful definately. i can feel alot of the emotion and stuff beind this, and so you have accomplished alot that oi would expect within an ambient song X3 good job fat kid! to improve, simply practice more, you can only get better X3

It actually was VERY melodically inclined. The synths and pads are really complex, with over 500 notes! D: I played around with different notes and synths and combined them together until I found ones that fit. the real acomplishment was making the instruments, because reflecting my emotions through a computer instrument is hard heh. you know, dragging around bars and moving fake knobs on my screen makes it hard to really know what the outcome will be like. It took me forever to make that wind sound heh.

maybe could've added some bass? but then again, like you said, garage band is a limited program, so I wouldn't know. I'm also not much of a musician. I liked it all the same though, it had an eeriness to it, which I like.

You are so right. BASS. I need to learn how to add that in, but I thought this song was far too complicated as it was so another layer might have been over kill. I will add Bass in my next song which will be really trippy and funky, Pink Floyd style.

I loved every second reading ur description then listening to the song, i could really picture it :) i envy your creativity and great ears for music :) i have great ears for the piano but dont know how to make it cool enough to post on here ;) and your right, it takes alot of time to make up a song. i made one up only 2 minutes long and took me nearly half amonth to write :O. But this, loved it. I really did feel like i was flying :) 10/10.

Piano eh? I wish I could play the piano but even after 2 years of practicigin I suck at it... it did, however, give me the chance to learn awesome notes and keys that I would use in the future to create things like this! :)
