So is flash punk rock?
Two things: first, the music was awsome and the immages really worked well with the song, good job! Second, if you disagree with what this flash or the song, or anyone else says about what "is punk rock", then go right ahead and do so, thinking for yourself is good. At the same time, you have to realize that some people consider "punk" to be more than just a style. To them it's a culture and a set of lifestyle choices. The underlying point, they might say, is that no matter where you buy your clothes you are "not punk rock" if you don't live the rest of the life, period. Hot Topic has proliferated the concept of "punk" as a fashion and profited from that proliferation. Whatever you think about the clothes or the people who wear them, if you know anything about "punk rock", or any other subculture for that matter, you can see why people have a problem with Hot Topic.
