Reviews for "Radarix"

Seems familiar, yet completly new

Great game, the graphics were nice and clear, and so was the sound. It also had the right difficulty to make it fun.

Even though that it's a unique game, I would have to say it kinda reminds me of one of those lock challenges out of the Ratchet & Clank games.

Chaoswarrior

GameSQUID responds:

You're right, I did get a bit of inspiration from the lock puzzles in the first Ratchet&Clank game (which I loved I by the way). However, I think the gameplay is totally different :)

Well...

The premise was good, and the overall execution wasn't that bad. The controls weren't difficult, and the gameplay was intiutive.

The real problem that I had with this game is that there are no combos that you can do. The only real challenge is a race against the clock and seeing if you hit the buttons the right direction you want them to. There's no skill and thinking ahead involved, like in many other puzzle games. You could make this great, but as of right now it feels unfinished.

(BTW I only went to level 3, please reinform me if I'm wrong.)

Please make some changes

Please change the colors a bit. I'm color blind and it makes it impossible for me. It's actually the green and yellow that are just too similar.

GameSQUID responds:

I'm sorry about this. I'll keep this in mind for future games.
I'm not promising anything, but I am thinking about making a section on my site for color blind people, with different versions my games. However, I have a lot of other stuff I need to finish first - I'm aiming at releasing one game each month for a while, to get my site going.

Great. Still.

I'm addicted and give you a 5 every day man. And to the last guy, that's definetely just your computer. The sound is fine.

Well made

I can see a lot of effort went into this. One thing:

Maybe it's just my computer, but everytime I pressed the space bar, the music went off. And then on again when I pressed it again. Holding or just tapping, it went on and off. Was this intentional?

GameSQUID responds:

Well, I had that problem too at first (becauset the mute button got focus, and pressing space checks/unchecks it). I was able to fix this with some actionscript, but I'm now guessing that my code for that is not supported by all versions of the flash player. So if you have an outdated version, you might experience this problem. I'll see if I find another solution.
