quite impressive

That was great to watch, very smooth and well done.
The face was particularly good, ah heck there were lots of good bits. You MUST make a proper little animation with some characters or something i think. I'd love to see what you come up with.
ps [and dont listen to your friend, lots of people dont have any taste - that doesn't mean they're idiots, just dont pay any attention to them when it comes to your own opinion of your work. ;) :) ]

Gate-keeper-girl responds:

Well, the genocide series is coming out soon. That's... proper.. I guess. n_n

I've had worse insults. BELIEVE ME.

thanks

Spiffy!

The above zeroes are because the category in question does not apply. The thing you have created is quite neat and I rather wish it had been longer. :) I enjoyed watching it. Specifically, I liked the progression from the more simplistic motions to the line drawings.

I've never done any flash creation myself, so I don't know how hard this would be to accomplish in two hours. It seems like a fairly tight time contraint, though. Something close to a frame every ten seconds on average including the complicated ones? I know that Flash can handle some of the details (object movement, color changes), but you must know your way around the software. Nice line drawings too, by the way.

I have only one recommendations for improvement, if you were going to make more of these or planned to extend this one: it took a while to get started; I wasn't sure if the dot/line thing was going to do anything other than be a dot/line thing.

As to the overly critical friend of yours that didn't like your work: pay him no mind. Unless he was particularly insulting, in which case a can of rocket fuel and some matches will solve that problem real quick. :-D

Keep up the good work! I look forward to whatever else you might submit.

Cheers!

Gate-keeper-girl responds:

Hmm *goes out to the store to buy rocket fuel and matches*

Well, tablets make life easier when it comes to fbf animation. I have plans to start a massive fbf project. Probably have around 6 or more things going on at once. Possibly a dream sequence or two :P

Like pirates in red pants, and a talking chicken! ( real dream btw )

Gate-keeper-girl responds:

Yup!

fun to watch

probably a pain in the ass to make,i've never done a 1000 frames flash.

Gate-keeper-girl responds:

Just try it! Sit down at your computer for 2 hours on a weekend, have some soda, make 4 or more layers, and convert all but the background layer and music layer to blacnk keyframes, use onion skinning, and viola!
