Excellent...

...I have to say, the first few scenes didn't impress me. The part with the red eyes opening in the shadows is a little bit overdone. But this flash really picks up, when the tentahooks and the claws start grasping out for the droid it feels very dark and foreboding. I have a lot of dreams like that, with the exact same feelings.
This particular scene, when the things drag the bot, reminds me of the Evil Dead movies. Where you inspired by those at all?

As for your question about the title... I'm not really sure... but the last reviewer seemed to hit the nail on the head when he said about a Utopia being unobtainable. And it will only ever exist in the dreamworld (where in this case - they are still out of reach)

Beautiful

This is a beautifully-sad story, and to me the animation was done well enough to get the story told. Only if more people took time to make heart felt stories like this, maybe the wouldn't be people, like Astralimits, who lack the ability to see the difference between crappy animations and good epic story telling animations.

Anyways keep up the good work and hope to see more.

well that was crap

The robot was exactly like "The Iron Giant" movie. The story was crappy and boring. The robot walks too much.

Very Cool

This was excelent. The graphics and the music did a great job of evoking a mood. This was one of the better robot themed flash movies I've run into on NewGrounds, and you did a great job with the ending.
