a Dreamy and Intellectual - journey with space.
Weather it’s a comically surreal exploration of space-time, or a seriously real exploration of the absurd, “Oceans of Infinity” explores the furthest recesses of imagination not just in story but in the beautifully animated depiction of space travel.
the back ground scenery has a major character playing role in this flash film, it is the supporting character or antagonist to the main Character, the Astronaut.
There is a silent dialog of interactivity between Man and Space that with out words, but in a journey through a Black Hole, tells a very perplexing riddle - with a cynical, humorous, devastating, and/or profound punch line.
the style and colorfulness of the animation draws the imagination in even further with a depiction of space travel that looks (in a cartoon style) convincingly accurate and scenically beautiful, something that space fans such as myself dream of seeing and experiencing for real some day.
all though the Author - “Barry Munden” admits to leaving the musical sound track out do to the file size, this film really does not need it.
The sound affects alone are so well balanced with the animation as to create the sensation of the music that comes from nature, and the silence in the space travel scenes lends a convincing, credible and creepy feel that forces the viewer to put themselves in the place of the Astronaut.
I found this film a slightly chilling Work of art and a work of (and on my) imagination.
