Pretty nice all in all. Its a lovely listen. The only thing keeping this from a 9 is the fact its a cover. Now don't let that discourage you. I'm just picky on originality. All in all this is still a well done version of this song!

This was an incredibly beautiful piece of work which has proven yet again that less can mean much more.
Your voice is so captivating I felt that the piano wasn't even necessary but it was so soft and elegant it helped raise the emotions without driving the song.
I can't really put into words how touching this is, maybe it's my mood or because it's that time of year.
Just keep making more and use your talents to bring a little heart to an often cold and apathetic world.

First of all let me congratulate you on making the best of the week. That is a really impressive feat and you have successfully pulled it off.
I thought your song was okay. I will not contradict that you have a great voice, not too many people on newgrounds do (sorry to all those that feel offended by this comment). I thought that your words were clear and that your singing was impressive.
My one main complaint is the fact that this did not sound too creative. Sure you just did a cover of Lenon's song and all, but you really didn't add any flair to it. It was mostly like the original only with you singing it and no chorus of children singing in the backround. I always thought that this song also really shouldn't be a christmas song. It's just not joyful more or less just a dissallusioned way of looking at the holidays. Like "Is that all there is?"
Another complaint that I had was the fact that you really didn't concentrate on using different parts. For the most part it was just a piano and you along with a very very faint quartet sound in the distance and you recording over yourself towards the end to mimic the chorus of children. The amount of parts you had was a bit lacking and then you have the fact that you and the piano made the other parts that you created almost non existent. I could hardly hear the quartet and you doing the chorus part unless I listened. Try making those a small tad louder please.
Other than that I have no complaints. You have a wonderful voice and I think you should keep creating things and singing. You may have a cool career with that one. Merry Christmahanakwanzaka to you and a happy new year unless your chinese. Peace,
