Good effort

I made a couple of fps shooters when i started out too, and i know there no easy task, but a few tips, limited ammo means limited fun! Simple characters that move well will score higher than advanced characters that don't... seperate the peices and have them spin to look at you when they emerge. Furthermore add a health bar and a damage code on the peak of the enemies apearance / momement, so you have to kill them or they'll shoot you! I liked your preloader... the sound was a bit annoying though! Good job! Keep it up!

Not Terrible, Not Great, And not Historical

OK, I have to say that this game needs work. A Lot of work. It is a good effort, but certainly nothing I would take time out of my SPWAW addiction to do.

Firstly, the Historical Errors:

It appears that you are confused as to what nation your soldier is from and where he is fighting. For example, you seem to be implying that he is American from the Opening Screen and the helmet, as well as giving him an 'M1 Carbine."

However, Caen was in the East, inside the British Empire's Sector, while the American Sector was to the West. And you seem to unconsciously know that, as the "M1 Carbine" is somehow bolt-action, which was certainly not the case for the real M1 Carbine, but bears closer resemblence to the Lee-Enfield, which is what the British and Canadian soldiers who actually fought in Caen would use.

That historical uncertaintly aside, this game needs some serious reworking. It is too short, too bland, and little more then a dignified shooting gallery. It is a nice effort, but make it longer, give the Germans the ability to return fire, and in general work out the kinks and this could be good.

It a good start

i think you did a great job on the artwork, but the game aspect of it is lacking, it looks like you were planning to have it so you upgrade guns, which would have been better, i would reccomend maybe scolling the background when you move since you dont stand stationary and move your arms like that, more levels, and different guns, also the enemies shooting back and having some AI, and not being tweens would be better, but since this is so basic in terms of gameplay, and it being a game i had to give it a low score

you can shoot throught the walls.

fix that, and then add them shooting at you or something. it wasn't bad just not really good either.

No...

This wasn't that good, it was like one of those games where they give you prizes that don't (probably) exist, the only difference is a loading screen, ammo, and it's timed. You could have made it funner if they shot you.

let me see a flash game youve made.
