the major problem i can see is that the same thing was said over and over again. Try Parodying actual events, like having bush mention "Staying the course" in iraq, or mentioning social security reform, etc.
As english teachers will tell you, just like reading a story, it's better when you can connect the topic to something you know about.

Hahaha.... you have those reporters down pat, man. XD I like. It'd probably be better if they were really yelling loud, though, rather than trying not to disturb the neighbors.
